Hey Tempo Tribe, Sophie here again!
It has been a busy month here at Tempo as you may know, from new stores and spooky new drinks to meeting First Minister (!!!)
Our main piece of exciting news is... TEMPO IS TURNING TEN! We can’t quite believe it either, where has the time gone?
Can you fathom that we are already into October? I certainly can’t! Which reminds me, we also have our seasonal special which is quickly becoming a fave amongst the team. Have you tried it yet?!
WHAT'S THE TEA?
When the Minister came to tea!
It’s not every day you are greeted at work by a camera crew and the First Minister’s secretary. But that was the case for the Tempo Team on Saturday when we hosted our latest Communitea event. Mama Tan was here for the paparazzi!
At Tempo, we recognise that without our community, we could never have reached our ten year milestone, so we know how important it is to give back. Our amazing team organised a day of family friendly fitness (with ample bubble tea of course, hydration is important!)
We had dance fitness with Rudy, who really got the kids pumped to meet Humza Yousaf, our First Minister. We were very impressed when he joined in to show us his own moves!

Lush X Tempo
At Tempo, we work hard AND play hard. The month of September was no exception, we had a ball!
We collaborated with Lush to host our Boba & Bubble Bash. It was great fun getting to show you guys how to be bobaristas and we loved getting our hands dirty with Lush.
51 Queen St, Glasgow
Tempo took over Queen Street as we opened the doors of our new store at number 51. You guys really pulled through for us, we appreciate each and every one of you who joined the queue on our first day!
Our VIP launch party the evening prior was bouncing! We had a performance from Rudy, a Mikaku spread (yum!) and an abundance of support from our local creators. It’s fair to say we are feeling the love here at Tempo.

Tempo’s Newest Recruit
You may have seen what appears to be a little teddy bear popping in to our new store for his bubble tea fix... little Kuba the Chow Chow is the newest member of the Tan family and Tempo Team! He has stolen the hearts of us all (maybe not so much Mochi, but he will get there...) and has been somewhat of a distraction in the office! Welcome to the family Kuba!
In the Spotlight
If you have visited us lately, you may have seen our team sipping on some funky new concoctions. Our three new team spotlight teas - Liv, Laugh, Love; The Chopper, and Berry Special - have officially been added to our menu.
We are very sad to be saying goodbye to our Olivia, who created the Liv, Laugh, Love. We are sure she will be doing all of the above as she sets off on her next adventure. Keep living, laughing and loving, Liv!

Our Queen Marnie recently celebrated her 1 year anniversary at Tempo! We have loved watching her confidence grow within the company, we are so proud!
