After an incredible time at Deecon last month, we got another call from the convention world! A spooky call 👻
Ecto-con, a ghostbusters themed convention, was our next stop in geek land. We created some cool ectoplasm looking bubble tea as well as a lovely red coloured one (I’m sorry I can’t remember the flavours! A lack of research is what makes this newsletter fun! Or so I’m telling myself.) 🙃
Anyway, our team had an absolute blast! 🥳 Hope to see you guys at more conventions this summer…maybe…I’m not in charge…or am I?! Nah I’m not…maybe
This month we introduced a new perk for our staff! Supplements! 💊
There are so many benefits to working at Tempo! The newest is some Vitamin D and multivitamins.
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Having the right amount of vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus is important for building and keeping strong bones. 🦴 Just like that yoghurt advert! Petits filous? Petitis Filous helps make bones grow stronger! Vitamin D helps make bones grow stronger! 💪
The primary role of a multivitamin is to fill nutritional gaps and make sure people get their daily allowance of under consumed nutrients like vitamins A, C, D, E and K, calcium, magnesium, dietary fibre and potassium. It’s a bit of a multi-tasker then? 🕺
Annie and Joey One Year Anniversary
I’m gonna say a lot now so hold on tight!
Let’s get the professional/ serious part out the way first. It was the one year anniversary of Joey and myself working at Tempo! Yay! We learned a lot blah blah blah..
My take away at the time was that it was the one year anniversary of:
- Meeting my soulmate!
- Joey met her best friend in the entire world.
- Joey finally learned what true love was.
- Also it means Joey has had a crush on me for an entire year!
Picture this:
Joey was sad and alone for most of her life. 😢 She decides ‘hey why not apply for this bubble tea job?’ Not like my life will change forever right?’ Oh how wrong she was! 😉
Little did Joey know, across on the other side of Glasgow, a young, awesome blonde had just applied for the same job! 🤭
Joey spent her first two weeks learning all things bubble tea and meeting her new coworkers. She was happy but there was still a hole in her heart! ❤️🩹
Suddenly time seemed to stop as Joey looked up (this is literal. I am much taller than Joey) and saw hearts. 🥰 Skip to 1 year later (because this is getting quite long) and we are the best of friends! We hope you all enjoy seeing our faces in the shop 🌷 You have no choice anyway 😅
